Dill Seeds

Dill Seeds are popular in many German, Russian & Scandinavian dishes.  With their pungent anise and caraway flavours, these seeds are commonly used as a pickling spice for preserved vegetables but they are also delicious sprinkled in a casserole before cooking, in fish dishes and baked goods.  In India they are used mostly in dhal dishes.
