This Grade A saffron from Indian Kashmir is recognisable due to its long strands and its deep red colour, which mean it is stronger and more powerful, and a more effective colouring agent, than other generally available saffron such as Spanish or Iranian.
Because of its limited availability and high quality, we consider this as the most ‘luxury’ of our saffrons, and it is highly recommended. It will bring its unique quality to your paella, risotto or baking, with its deeper colour and its beautiful aroma. And due to its strength, only a single strand is needed to bring perfect results.
