Winter mulled spices – Whisky Toddy
A hot Whisky Toddy is a great way to keep out the cold on a chilly evening, and these lovely spice bundles from the Old Hamlet Wine & Spice Co are the easiest option for making one. Each pack contains four tied muslin sacks of specially selected spices, starring the spicy warmth of ginger to make that dram even more dramatic! To make your toddy, bring 450ml of water and 1tbs sugar to the boil and allow to boil gently for five minutes, then allow to cool a little. Add a 75ml shot of whisky and reheat to piping hot – but do not boil this time.
