Caraway Seeds

Widely used throughout parts of Europe, caraway seeds are commonly used to flavour rye breads, soups, baking goods, white sauces, cabbage, green beans, potato dishes and is particularly good in goulash.  It has a highly aromatic sweet spicy flavour with notes of mint and aniseed.  Caraway is also good with strong meats such as game.
