Mole Sauce, jar

A Mexican mole sauce is a beautiful thing, but to make one from scratch needs plenty of time and effort. These jars of ready made mole sauce are perfect for when you have neither. The sauce is deep, rich and spicy and can be warmed through and used to smother grilled chicken or pork for a quick Mexican treat. Also this makes a great ‘cook-in’ sauce – just brown some chicken thighs, pour over the sauce and cook in the oven until the chicken is ready. Either way, mole sauce is a great standby to have handy in the kitchen cupboard.
