These little slices of sunshine are amazing! In fact they are so good we might just advise you to eat them straight out of the bag, and not use them in cooking. But seriously.. slices of sun-dried tomato seasoned with oregano and basil, they are sweet, tart, zingy and earthy all at the same time, a wonderful blast of flavour when you bite into them. They are really versatile too. As said you can enjoy them ‘neat’, or crumble them over a salad or a pasta bake for a crunchy topping with a difference. They are very good rehydrated in olive oil, which gives them a chewier, juicier character, and used like this then chopped they are great for a minimal sauce for grilled chicken or fish. Finally they are great for baking with, used in focaccia or ciabatta. That’s if you don’t eat them all the moment you open the bag!
