Winter mulled spices – Spiced Cider

Cider and spice make the perfect marriage, never more so than with these lovely spice bundles from the Old Hamlet Wine & Spice Co. Each pack contains four tied muslin sacks of spices, specially chosen to make the best Spiced Cider. Your drink can be enjoyed warm or cold as you prefer, and it is easy to prepare; stir a couple of tablespoons of sugar into a litre of cider and add one spice bundle, then heat gently until the sugar dissolves (do not boil). If you prefer your spiced cider cold, just allow to cool completely and serve over ice.
