Tandoori Chicken

This tandoori mix is a curry powder rather than a marinade (although it can be used as a marinade if you like), designed to give that unique tandoori flavour to your dishes. It is a mild, colourful and delicious blend, full of aromatic spices which can be used not only for curry dishes, but as an all-purpose seasoning too. It makes beautiful dressings and dips when combined with mayonnaise or yoghurt, and can be used to enliven stews, gravies and sauces. One of our favourite ways to use this is to mix with fresh mint, coriander, lemon juice and yoghurt, to dress a cucumber and tomato salad. This makes an excellent accompaniment to any curry. A really useful addition to the spice cupboard.
