Chipotle, Powder

We need no excuse to use this chilli powder in our cooking! 100% ground morita chipotle, it  has the most wonderfully rich, dark red colour and imparts a smoky, chocolatey flavour, with subtle dark fruit undertones. Its heat is fairly strong, but not overpowering. It is ideal for use in any Mexican dishes, and is also really good for giving your barbecue sauce a warm chilli punch that will complement your food perfectly. In fact it can be used whenever a rich smoky taste is wanted, and there is no doubt that this is a definite favourite of ours!
