Pink Peppercorns

Unlike the above 3 varieties of peppercorns, the pink ones are in fact, not a true peppercorn.  They come from the dried berries of the Baies Rose plant and have a pretty bright pink colour. They are often used for their colourful additions in food and go especially well as a fish seasoning.  As they impart a sweet peppery flavour (not hot at all) these attractive pepper berries are often added to desserts.
