These spicy black peppercorns are smoked in the UK for Spice Mountain, a smoking process that takes 72 hours over oakwood to produce a wonderfully aromatic pepper. The smoking process both tempers and intensifies the pepper’s natural heat, and results in a deliciously balanced flavour which is perfect for seasoning meat and fish for the barbecue.
