Sorrel/ Hibiscus

The dark burgundy colour and redcurrant-like flavour of hibiscus flowers are most commonly used in hot or cold beverages.  Infusing only a couple of flowers in boiling water with fresh ginger and honey makes a deliciously healthy tea or allow it to cool for a refreshing iced tea.  Also wonderful to flavour jams, jellies & vinaigrettes.
