This wonderfully fruity and mild Mexican chilli powder will add a rich burgundy colour and a deep, warm flavour to your cooking. It is one of the most commonly used of all the Mexican chillies, and its slightly smoky flavour means it works extremely well in any dish with a tomato base, from salsas to stews.
